Requirement:
Meet a 12 week design and build schedule to create a work platform for the Boeing DPD (Douglas Products Division) Long Beach Facility.
Solution:
Team with both design and fabrication suppliers to ensure all schedule, budget and design requirements are met.
Optimize the design by using Boeing NTRTD’s (Boeing Tooling Standard) to facilitate fabrication schedule.
Utilize the CATIA CAD system to develop and evaluate design, weights and clearances.
