Requirement:
Develop a system that would accommodate the Atlas IIAS and IIAR Vehicles, combining the capabilities of the existing road transport and erection trailers.
Solution:
Utilized Nastran Finite Element Analysis system to optimize the design of all structural members to ensure a lightweight structure that meets road, air and erection functional requirements.
Maintained existing system functions and interfaces for both the Atlas IIAS and IIAR vehicles.
Utilized the Pro-Engineer CAD system to develop and evaluate system designs, envelopes and clearances.
